Conductor by interactive Designer and Google Creative Lab’s own Alexander Chen reinvents the subway map of New York City into an interactive, real-time string instrument. Using MTA’s actual subway schedule, the piece begins in realtime by spawning trains which departed in the last minute, then continues accelerating through a 24 hour loop.
