I did some digging and found out that the reason why we, as a nation, had little to no access to the internet was because of an anchor.

Yeah. One anchor from one ship hit one cable and damaged one segment and just like that, a nation lost its connection to the data-stream of constant information that makes the world go ‘round. We were almost cut off from the world by one anchor.

Just one anchor. 

And that is how fragile our modern lives are…
