The following interface has been created to help show what crime has been committed in the neighbourhoods across the capital. Crime information is shown on the map plotted to show crime rates in each area compared to the average across Maldives, or as relevant categories by clicking on the listed under “Categories”. While the Maldives Police Service strives to provide accurate information, the crime data shown on the Crime Map is verified by the Bureau of Crime Records (BCR). Investigation and Analysis may change crime categories and/or other information shown on the Crime Map.

Note: Not all the incidents reported to Maldives Police Service are shown on the Crime Map, but all incidents reported will be looked into by Maldives Police Service.
