System of Opposites<\/p>\n

Therefore we developed an identity system that reflects the nature of a dynamic and creative place such as the Kaai Theatre in Brussels, an institution that needs to communicate the diversity of its activities as well as its two locations in the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The duality of location is reflected in the use of opposites of shapes (open or enclosed), direction, scale, and placement. Whereas the diversity of its activities is communicated by its ever changing 256 symbols which enables the creation of a graphic identity that is not recognised by a mark, but for its overall graphic style.<\/p>\n
