Especially when they start posting endless self-righteous blog entries about \u2018how to watch TV more efficiently\u2019 or \u2018how to check your work email while taking a shower and juggling seventy-three plates at the same time\u2019, so naturally today\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/xkcd.com\/\">xkcd<\/a> cartoon appealed to me immensely. I hold with my long-considered opinion that productivity gurus should just get on with being productive, giving themselves their usual smug and self-satisfied glow, and leave the rest of us &#8211; otherwise known as \u2018life\u2019s failures\u2019 &#8211; the hell alone to potter around ineffectively and stare vacantly into the middle distance for hours, if that\u2019s what we want to do and if that\u2019s what makes us happy. Rant over.
