Crime information is shown on the map plotted to show crime rates in each area compared to the average across Maldives, or as relevant categories by clicking on the listed under “Categories”. While the Maldives Police Service strives to provide accurate information, the crime data shown on the Crime Map is verified by the Bureau of Crime Records (BCR). Investigation and Analysis may change crime categories and\/or other information shown on the Crime Map.<\/p>\n
