I was alone and all was dark
\nBeneath me and above
\nMy life was full of volts and amps
\nBut not the spark of love
\nBut now that you are here with me
\nMy heart is overjoyed
\nYou turn the square of my heart
\nInto a sinusoid
\nYou load things from my memory
\nOnto my system’s bus
\nMy life was once Machine Language
\nNow it is C
\nI love the way you solder things
\nMy circuits you can fix
\nThe voltage across your diode is
\nMuch more than just point six
\nWith your amps and resistors
\nYou have built my integrator
\nI can not survive without you
\nYou are my function generator
\nYou have charged my life, Increased my gain
\nAnd made my math discreet
\nAnd now I’ll end my poem here
